During the walk, we will ascend to Guardilama Mountain, from where we will enjoy unique landscapes such as those of the Timanfaya National Park; at the same time we delve into the culture and traditions of Lanzarote, discovering the ingenious water capture systems used to maintain the vineyards and preserve the natural wealth of the area.

As a final touch, we will visit a local winery, where you can taste wines made with passion and tradition, immersing yourself in the authentic flavors of Lanzarote.

HIKING AT LA GERIA

It is a medium level route, with a slope of 300m and a duration of approximately 3 hours.

We start walking through the typical vineyards of La Geria. Here we take the opportunity to discover the origins of this peculiar crop before climbing to the top of Guardilama.

Once we reach the top, we will take a short break to enjoy the views from the top, discover testimonies of the indigenous era and regain strength.

As we descend towards La Geria we start to see a different landscape, in contrast to the one we have been in until this moment. From the purest nature we go on to see the most developed and touristic part of Lanzarote but without ceasing to be surrounded by vegetation.
